Commercial General Contractor in Orange County
Americal Construction Management Group builds and renovates commercial property across Orange County and Southern California. Since 1992 we have worked for owners, operators and managers who need a contractor that holds the schedule, protects the budget and keeps the building running while the work is underway.

Commercial construction, renovation and repositioning
Our commercial work ranges from single-suite tenant improvements to multi-phase renovations of hotels, retail centers, restaurants and residential communities. Most of it happens inside buildings that cannot close: guests are checking in, tenants are open for business, residents are home. That shapes how we plan every project.
We act as general contractor and construction manager. We price the work, secure permits, build the schedule, contract and coordinate the trades, manage the site day to day and close the project out with complete documentation. You hold one contract and one point of accountability from preconstruction to final turnover.
From preconstruction to closeout
Scope, budget and risk
We review drawings and site conditions, identify constructability and code issues early, and build a line-item budget. Where the numbers don't work, we propose value-engineering options with the trade-offs stated plainly, so decisions are made before they become change orders.
Approvals and sequencing
We manage plan-check and permit submittals with the design team, track comments to resolution and coordinate inspections. Long-lead materials are identified and released early so they don't set the critical path.
Scheduling and coordination
Trades are sequenced against a working schedule that is updated as the job moves. On occupied properties we plan noise, dust, access and utility shutdowns around operations and communicate them in advance.
Turnover and documentation
Punch lists are walked and closed, inspections finalized, and the owner receives as-builts, warranties, product data and operations information. We remain available for the next phase or the next tenant.
Schedule, budget and communication
Schedule control
A realistic baseline schedule, weekly updates, and early warning when a trade, inspection or delivery puts a date at risk.
Budget discipline
Line-item estimates, documented allowances and change-order pricing supported by backup — no surprises at the end of the job.
Clear communication
One project lead, regular site reports and photo documentation, and answers the same day.
Occupied-property logistics
Phasing, after-hours work, temporary protection, and dust and noise control planned around guests, tenants and residents.
Subcontractor coordination
Qualified trades, defined scopes and a superintendent on site who runs the work rather than reporting on it.
Risk reduction
Licensed and insured, with safety, permitting and inspection requirements handled before they become delays.
